• Ask to see the Certificate of Authority from the Maine Superintendent of Insurance.
• Ask for a copy of the Continuing Care Agreement.
• Evaluate the Agreement to confirm that the agreement aligns with the Certificate of Authority
• Understand the pros and cons of choosing a lifecare retirement community like Piper Shores versus another that offers or purports to offer continuing care.
