Golf Courses Near Piper Shores

Nonesuch River Golf Club
The 203-acre facility features an 18-hole championship golf course, a modern 2,500 square-foot clubhouse, a full-size practice range and green, golf academy, and an experienced staff. The 6,300-yard, par 70 layout was designed by Tom Walker of Golf Design Studios in Palm Beach, Florida, whose mission was to provide a walkable course designed with the average golfer in mind.
Willowdale Golf Course
This public course’s front nine is wide open compared to the narrow fairways on the back nine. The greens are medium-sized and some are mildly undulating. Water hazards only come into play on two holes. This very scenic course features a beautiful local river separating the front from the back nine. One of the most difficult holes is #10, a 405-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water, then a long approach shot to the green. Tee times may only be reserved for the weekends.
South Portland Municipal Golf Course
Designed by Larry Rowe, the 18-hole “South Portland” course at the South Portland Municipal Golf Course facility in South Portland, Maine features all the hallmarks of Maine golf.
Pleasant Hill Disc Golf
Situated on 40 acres of a former traditional ball golf course, the 18-hole course features wide open throwing areas as well as densely wooded shots and a few water hazards. From beginners to Pros, Pleasant Hill Disc Golf is fun for all.
